Beautiful Morgantown, West Virginia is home to more than just West Virginia University. It's abundance of college students definitely has a prominent impact on the town; however, there are other elementary aged students that live here as well. There are many children in Morgantown, that have never stepped foot on WVU's campus despite it's close proximity. We would like to implement a proposal to you, the City Manager of Morgantown, for the financial stipend in order to bring College Mentors for Kids to WVU for Skyview Elementary School. This program is of utmost importance to this region of the Appalachia due to current events and limited educational resources. College Mentors for Kids will assist with these deficits by promoting higher education and cultural diversity regardless of individual backgrounds.
